Hong Kong Disneyland College Program

The Disney College Program and Hong Kong Disneyland each have unique design guides that define their distinct branding and thematic styles. These guides serve as critical frameworks, ensuring consistency and preserving the identity of each brand in all visual and experiential elements.

In February 2024, when Hong Kong Disneyland decided to launch its own dedicated college program, it created a significant opportunity—and challenge—to merge two separate design identities into a cohesive experience. By creatively combining the two brands for various events related to the new program, I helped bridge their individual aesthetics while maintaining the integrity of each.

This design integration was crucial for several reasons: it reinforced brand recognition for both Disney College Program and Hong Kong Disneyland, ensured a seamless and immersive experience for participants, and supported the overarching goal of fostering a unified community. The impact of these design decisions extended beyond visual appeal. They played an essential role in communicating the program’s values, enhancing engagement, and setting a strong foundation for the new branch’s identity within the larger Disney ecosystem.
